"Rise and Fall: The Life of UP Gangster Ateeq Ahmed"

Atiq Ahmed, who started his mafia and political innings in Prayagraj, also ended up in the same Prayagraj. For the last two weeks, Atiq kept repeating every day in front of the media that he would be killed. His brother Ashraf had said in Bareilly Jail on March 23 and March 23 that I would be taken out of jail and killed within two weeks. Both brothers' fears proved accurate, and they were dead at 10:30 pm on Saturday. At that time, media cameras were on.

Both Atiq and Ashraf became Bahubali leaders from the mafia. But the last two months have been terrible for the mafia family. The name came in the Umesh Pal murder case. Atiq was punished for the first time in 44 years. Son's encounter happened. I couldn't even see his dead body at the last moment. He couldn't even go to his son's funeral. Now Atiq-Ashraf will also be buried in the same Kasari-Mashari cemetery where the son was buried 24 hours ago.

The first case filed against Atiq at the age of 17:

Year 1962, Chakia village of Prayagraj. A boy named was born in the house of Firoz Ahmed, a tonga driver named Ateeq Ahmed. Firoz was the only earner in the home. Somehow, by arranging money, he used to teach Atiq, but he did not feel like studying at all. The result was that he failed in 10th.

After this, he left his studies ultimately. Now he got the urge to become rich as soon as possible. But, instead of working hard, he chose a shortcut to earn money. He adopted shortcuts to recover money by looting and kidnapping. He even started killing people to recover extortion. In 1979, a murder case was registered against Atiq for the first time. The story of Atiq becoming a criminal started from here.

On the one hand, Atiq was making his move in the world of crime, while on the other hand, the influence of a goon named Chand Baba was increasing in the city. Its fear was such that Chowk and Rani were afraid to go to the police in Mandi. Everyone, including the police and politicians, wanted to eliminate his fear of him. Taking advantage of this fear, Atik made a nexus with the police and local leaders.

Atiq would get full support from the police and local leaders in the criminal world. Seven years passed, and now Atiq had become more dangerous than Chand Baba. He used to carry out incidents like robbery, kidnapping, and murder continuously. The network of Atiq's henchmen started growing. Now Atiq has become a canker for the police as well. The police, who had given him incitement till now, began searching for him everywhere. Eventually, the police arrested him.

After the arrest, people felt that Atiq's game was over, but it was not so. In those days, Veer Bahadur Singh's government was in the state, and Rajiv Gandhi's was in the center. According to police sources, "After the arrest of Atiq, a call was received from Delhi to get him released." Atiq came out of jail after a year.

Younger brother Ashraf also followed in the footsteps of Atiq Ahmed:

As soon as Atiq exited jail, he understood that only politics could help him escape. So he decided to step into politics. By the year 1989, about 20 cases had been registered against Atiq. He dominated the western part of Prayagraj. In 1989, he decided to contest the legislature for the first time. If no party gave a ticket, then the independent stood up.

Congress's Gopal Das Yadav was the candidate in front of Atiq. At the same time, the increasing influence of Atiq started irritating Chand Baba as well. That's why he also stood in the election to defeat Atiq. Election happened. When the results came, Atik got 25,906 votes. Ateeq became MLA for the first time by winning by 8,102 votes.

Atiq gradually continued to run his mafia under the guise of politics. Now he had also involved his younger brother Ashraf in the same work. Ashraf also started moving forward in the footsteps of Atiq Ahmed. Ashraf decided first to try his hand at politics, but Chand Baba was killed in the meantime.

Chand Baba was murdered in the middle of the market in broad daylight:

About three months after becoming an MLA, Atiq sat with his supporters in a tea stall in Roshanbagh. Suddenly Chand Baba came there with his gang, and a fierce gang war started between the two teams. The whole market was covered with bullets, bombs, and gunpowder. Chand Baba died in this gang war.

Within a few months, Chand Baba's entire gang was destroyed individually. Most of Chand Baba's supporters were killed, and the rest ran away. Atiq Ahmed was accused of Chand Baba's murder. But, being an MLA, no action was taken against him. A gang encounter was said to be the reason behind Chand Baba's death. To date, Atiq has not been proven guilty in this case.

Hara Ashraf, but Ateeq felt like he had lost:

Atiq Ahmed got Ashraf a ticket from SP. Raju Pal, once a part of Atiq's team, joined the BSP. Mayawati made him a candidate. There was a tough fight between the two. But, the bet was in the hands of Raju Pal. He won the election by 4 thousand votes. This defeat was of Ashraf, but Atiq felt as if he had lost. What happened after this was recorded in the history of UP. Let us now know about the Raju Pal murder case.

MLA Raju's car collided with a bamboo stick. January 25, 2005, it was 3 in the afternoon. Tricolors were being sold at all the shops in Sulemasarai. The song 'Mera mulk mera desh mera ye watan, shanti ka unnati ka prem ka chairman' was played at the shops. That's when unrest spread here.

BSP MLA from Allahabad City West, Raju Pal, was going back to his home in Neeva from SRN Hospital with a convoy of two vehicles. On the way, his friend Sadiq's wife Rukhsana met him and made him sit in the front seat of his car.

Raju Pal himself was driving the Qualis. Sandeep Yadav and Devilal were sitting in the back seat. Four people were sitting in the Scorpio, which was running behind. The convoy was on the GT Road of Sulemsarai when a high-speed Maruti van from the side overtaking Raju Pal's vehicle came straight in front. Raju's car collided with a roadside bamboo stick shop.

Five assailants exited the Maruti van parked in front and started firing immediately. Three goons surrounded Raju Pal's car and started firing. Two attackers began firing on the second vehicle of the convoy. They didn't give anyone a chance to get down. Hearing the sound of gunshots, people ran toward the spot. Those who were at the site ran to the other side. There was an atmosphere of chaos in the area of two kilometers.

Ateeq kept doing crimes under the guise of the legislature:

Atiq gradually became a prominent leader but could never come out of his mafia image. Instead, after becoming a leader, his crime speed increased. Brother Ashraf also supported Atiq at every step. Thirty-three criminal cases were also registered against Ashraf.

But when the BSP government came in the year 2007, the situation changed. The action started against Atiq. On July 5 July 5, 2007, Umesh lodged an FIR against 11 people, including Atiq and Ashraf. He continued to advocate this case in the High Court. After this, Atiq was arrested and sent to Sabarmati Jail and Ashraf to Bareilly Jail.

'If I am killed, an envelope will reach CM Yogi.'

Recently, Atiq Ahmed was sentenced to life imprisonment in Umesh Pal's kidnapping case. Also, his son Asad was encountered two days ago. According to media reports, Atiq and Ashraf were scared they would be killed. Ashraf told the media that a senior officer told me we would be taken out and killed in two weeks.

Eventually, that fear of Ashraf proved to be true. Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf Ahmed were shot in front of the media on the night of April 15. Ashraf said I could not tell the name of the officer who told me this. But if I am killed, a sealed cover will reach the Chief Minister and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and the Chief Justice of Allahabad.
